As the Owner and Managing Attorney of Lionheart Law, Shameeka brings a powerful combination of criminal and family law experience to every client she serves. A proud graduate of North Carolina Central University School of Law, Shameeka passed the Virginia Bar and returned to her home state with a clear mission: to serve and advocate for the communities that shaped her.
Shameeka began her legal career as an Assistant Public Defender, where she gained valuable courtroom experience and secured favorable outcomes for clients facing serious criminal charges. Her time in this role sharpened her trial skills and deepened her commitment to zealous, client-centered representation.
She later joined two respected boutique law firms in Northern Virginia, where she expanded her practice into family law. There, she guided clients through some of life’s most difficult moments—handling complex custody disputes, child support issues, and divorce proceedings with both compassion and precision.
Over the years, Shameeka has become a fierce advocate with a deep understanding of both criminal defense and family law. She approaches every case with care, knowing that today’s legal challenges can shape her clients’ futures.
